With the understanding that there are many individuals and groups doing great deeds in the Seattle Leather Community, and they are receiving little or no recognition for their positive work, WSMLO developed the National Leather Emerald Award, the Leather Emerald Award and Community Service Award. The Awards are broken out into varying categories and are awarded at a special brunch in honor of the recipients. These Awards have become one of the most prestigious awards on the west coast!
